Global warming, a bunch of lies?

Before this, i wrote that global warming might actually be a scam. I decided to touch more on this interesting subject.

Firstly, let me explain that I'm on the fence about this theory . Secondly, what i give in this post is just to explain the side that disapproves of global warming. Thirdly, enjoy.

The first thing i thought was that global warming was logically true, if it wasn't true then why would anyone want to support this theory? On the other hand, if it was true i would understand why some people would want to cover it up or claim it as being a lie because i assume these "people" are rich moguls whose income might be affected by global warming. Actually, it turns out that there are many probable greedy and selfish reasons why global warming would be supported by certain people even if it was false.

Let me point out, that these people who I am referring to as supporters of this 'lie' are not your average Joe's and Jane's but people of power and influence like the politicians and the like. From one website they stated that

"The global warming scare has enabled environmental advocacy groups to raise billions of dollars in contributions and government grants."

That is a lot of money, and money is one reason why these 'people' are happy about global warming. I also read that taxes is one of the 'tricks' used to get into people's pockets.

Continuing on, notice that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) did not prove that human activities are causing global warming. This is one important reason used by non-believers and it has certainly shaken my belief on global warming.

In conclusion, take note that all that is written here is just the tip of the iceberg and many more reasons have been given to point out that global warming is false. I shall not delve in this further and leave it to you to do your own 'research'. Allow me end this with a picture -

*(Sorry that the picture is small)*

Note: This is a list of scientists(100+) disagreeing with Obama on claims about global warming and this list was advertised in many newspapers. More importantly, many of the scientists are current and former UN IPCC reviewers and some have reversed their views on man-made warming and are now skeptical. Also note Nobel Laureate for Physics Dr. Ivar Giaever is in the list. Giaever endorsed Obama for President in an October 29, 2008 letter.

Earth hour?

Earth hour you say? I found this in the web where people told everyone to on ALL their lights during earth hour. Why? They believe global warming is a hoax and are trying to make a statement to everyone that it is total nonsense. Out of curiousity, i searched the internet for articles concerning the "hoax" of global warming. I have to admit, it did make me doubt somewhat about the theory of global warming. I'm actually now on the fence about this theory. Nevertheless, after doing a bit of internet research I'm leaning more to the fact that this theory is true. There are diehard supporters for both sides and both have their own logical reasons.

Anyways, here is a funny video i got from youtube concerning global warming. And I don't mean to put this video as an educational video about the theory of global warming being a load of bullshit. Check the internet if you want reliable information concerning the "swindle" of global warming...

Konserto Terakhir

Konserto terakhir ( The Last Concert) was in my view and taste a masterpiece. The sad story of Hilmi. With no schooling, Hilmi worked as gardener. Fell in love with his "cousin", Hayati. Became a musician after that and a truly talented one. A very sad story all the way filled with love stories...

The last concert was a very apt title in my opinion. In the ending of the novel the title leaves a strong impression. An internationally recognized musician, Hilmi was supposed to be the conductor of the orchestra to be performed infront of royalty and to be broadcasted throughout the whole country. An accident happened. An ambulance came. Hilmi unconcious. His long life secret love, Hayati who was apart from Hilmi for many years return from London to see Hilmi. She became the sudden substitute of Hilmi and lead the orchestra. After everything finished, all the people from the past returned to Hilmi's life after so many years. They visited him in the hospital. Hilmi's foster father told the true identity of Hilmi's father. Hilmi is actually the brother of Hayati. They left the hospital. Hilmi died a few minutes later. Hilmi's true father, upon hearing his son's death fell down to the floor holding the phone in his hand and passed away...

Imagining the story would pierce my heart, the sadness would creep inside me...

MSSM

I'm gonna talk about my MSSM experience. Some of you might have heard about it in the assembly about students from BB who went for MSSM for rugby, chess and squash. It is in my experience that most do not know what MSSM , MSSS or MSSD is, or at least i think so. They only have a rough idea of what it is, not realising how big the event is.

MSS refers in BM to Majlis Sukan Sekolah, the end of the "MSS" shows the level of the tournament. Many students have went to MSSD, which refers to Majlis Sukan Sekolah Daerah. MSSD is for any sport whether for badminton, football or whatever. And if you are among the best in your district you'll be chosen for the next one - MSSS. The S refers to selangor, so for other states they use their respective state's name (eg. Kedah is MSSK i think). It continues, if you are among the best in your state you will go to the next one which is MSSM - a prestigious tourmament for youths in malaysia. For some sports, after MSSM is a more prestigious one, which is representing your country for tournaments like ASEAN, ASIAN and World tournaments. This is the main goal of many youths who are active in sports, if they think they can make it that is...

MSSD, MSSS and MSSM have three groups( Under-12, Under-15 , Under-18 age) and are separated to boys and girls. But it depends on the sport, i doubt MSSM for rugby has a girls section.

Anyway, my explanation is done. My experience now. MSSM for chess this year was in Selangor. Yeah, we were the host state. For those going for MSSM, the last thing they ever want is the tournament being held in their own ground. Imagine going for the olympics, and it was held in your country! That would be boring, people like to travel to other countries.

Moreover i have the luck of going for MSSM for 4 years. My first one, my most memorable one, was held in Terengganu when i was form 2. One thing about MSSM is that it is very very fun. For MSSM catur, you get to stay in a hotel, around 7 days with your friends(imgaine that). The experience is very memorable and i wished i could go another time but my school days are over since i'm gonna go college next year. In Terengganu, we got to play beach football, eat their signature fish dishes, rest beside the beach etc. Not only that, Selangor in chess is among the best in the country. So we are respected and revered by other states (which is nice xD).
